Web, Interaction and UX design prototypes

Cuddles the trauma bear

Client: University Project

Project: A programmed plush bear that aids children with anxiety and emotional trauma through sensory functions such as music, sound and colour. The bear prototype was constructed with pressure, rgb light, flex sensors and a button. Max/Jitter/MSP was used to program the bear. The primary tangible function is the ability for the child to hug the bear, causing the glowing light to glow brighter depending on the the pressure of the squeeze.
