Cuddles the trauma bear
Client: University Project
Project: A programmed plush bear that aids children with anxiety and emotional trauma through sensory functions such as music, sound and colour. The bear prototype was constructed with pressure, rgb light, flex sensors and a button. Max/Jitter/MSP was used to program the bear. The primary tangible function is the ability for the child to hug the bear, causing the glowing light to glow brighter depending on the the pressure of the squeeze.
